Yesterday the pupils in Mrs Doherty’s classroom visited the Fire station in Ballyconnell. Firefighters Derek Crowe and Damien Brady showed them around the station. They got to see the different fire engines and equipment that is used. They learned lots of interesting facts from Derek and Damien who also taught them about fire safety and even let them use the fire hose! A great day was had by all.
