The pupils in Mrs Doherty's Classroom dressed up in their Halloween costumes and attended the Halloween Ball in Florence Court House last Thursday.
They learned all about how the Florence Court servants would have celebrated Halloween and the end of the harvest long ago, through craft activities, story and dance. They got a further insight into the work of the servants by visiting the laundry, kitchen, ironing room etc.
They also took part in an outdoor trail and discovered the seasonal changes that are taking place.
